Christmas is a great time to get into a creative mood and explore new crafts. The best memories are often the small moments where we find ourselves creating something new. You can achieve this by

    3. use a paper towel or cloth to dry out the slices and remove any water & juice.

    4. Put your oven onto its lowest heat

    5. Turn the slices over every hour

    6. Take out oven once slices are golden and crispy.

    7. Using a needle make small holes in the top of the orange slices

  1. Wreath Making

It's easy to go out and buy a wreath, however, it's even better to make your own! There are so many different ways you can make a wreath. You could go for a more traditional plant based wreath, or you may go for a pom pom wreath, or any other creative outlet that captures your attention. A traditional plant based wreath can be a great way to spend an afternoon this winter. A great way to gather the materials for your wreath is to go on a lovely winter walk and find the plant and natural aspects of your wreath. Knowing where the materials for your wreath have come from and knowing you have created it yourself adds a greater sense of meaning and charm to your decoration.

  2. Paper chains

Paper chains are a simple and traditional decoration that all ages can make. The simplicity of the decoration allows for so many different options and creativity. The different types of paper and different sizes can create a wide range of looks and effects. If your feeling extra creative you can cut the chains into different shapes such as Christmas trees or snowmen!

This simple yet effective decoration is a sustainable and therapeutic way to decorate your house this year!
